Norway is arguably one of the most beautiful countries on earth. It's famous for its natural attractions like Fjords, mountains and midnight sun, but it's also well known for a vibrant cultural life. Norwegian cities are cosmopolitan and full of stunning Scandinavian architecture.

ABOUT THE EVENTS

Norway is a Scandinavian country encompassing mountains, glaciers and deep coastal fjords. Oslo, the capital, is a city of green spaces and museums. Preserved 9th-century Viking ships are displayed at Oslo’s Viking Ship Museum. Bergen, with colorful wooden houses, is the starting point for cruises to the dramatic Sognefjord. Norway is also known for fishing, hiking and skiing, notably at Lillehammer’s Olympic resort.

Sailing employs the wind—acting on sails, wingsails or kites—to propel a craft on the surface of the water, on ice or on land over a chosen course, which is often part of a larger plan of navigation.

ABOUT CATALINA ISLAND

Catalina Island excursions last for three days, including two nights moored in beautiful Avalon Harbor. The Yacht will depart from Cabrillo Isle Marina around sunrise to embark on the 70 nautical mile journey to Avalon, Catalina. Your voyage will be highlighted by gorgeous coastal views and up close encounters with the wildlife of the Pacific Ocean, from Sea Lions to Blue Whales. Upon arrival to Avalon, guests may go ashore for dinner and drinks, or relax on the yacht. The next morning, enjoy breakfast on the boat while planning the days activities on the island. When your ready to go ashore, your crew will take you to town on the tender. Enjoy the day at your leisure, and come back and forth to the yacht as you please.

ABOUT THE EVENTS

Relax in the shade of the roomy cockpit or catch some Sun on the easy, down swell leg of the voyage back to San Diego. Trip includes Captain, airport transfer, and mooring fees in Avalon. Catalina Island charters are 3 days minimum.
