This yacht was commissioned by ball bearing magnate WR Timken supposedly to dominate in the prestigious Canada’s Cup Competition. Mr. Timpken enlisted the famous yacht designer, Ted Hood who designed the vessel and oversaw all aspects of production at his yard.
