Through the use of raw materials and lighting, they are able to portray their message to the public in unique and beautiful ways.

Being an installation that lasted only two days, this piece doesn’t reside in a gallery. However, when it was up, Luzinterruptus used about 2,500 condoms filled with water and blue dye and hung them in hallways. This piece emphasized the importance of water, especially during droughts.

Naziha Mestaoui was a belgian artist that created interactive outdoor installations to try to bring together both indoors and the environment. They emphasized living things, the ecosystem, climate change, and a larger-than-life concept. Many of her projects required her to step past the normal boundaries of art and work with technology and science.
ABOUT PIECE
One Tree, One Heart was an installation that lit up Paris to show the connection between all living things. Through the representation of the Tree of Life, it showed how living things are related to one another. When you connected you heart beat with the app, it would connect you with another species that matched your heart rate. This project was used to try to increase awareness about one’s carbon footprint and lessen its impact.
