Luzinterruptus – Rain Installation
Luzinterruptus is a group of artists that create installations and place them within the public realm to spread awareness about social, political, and environmental issues. Through the use of raw materials and lighting, they are able to portray their message to the public in unique and beautiful ways.
Being an installation that lasted only two days, this piece doesn’t reside in a gallery. However, when it was up, Luzinterruptus used about 2,500 condoms filled with water and blue dye and hung them in hallways. This piece emphasized the importance of water, especially during droughts.
