ABOUT ARTIST

Bernard Aubertin was known for his red monochromatic paintings and decorative artwork.When he met Yves Klein in 1957, he began using more abstract material such as nails, bolts, and screws. Later on he joined the ZERO group, which focused on light and space created and de-emphasized emotion and expression in their pieces.

Created over 50 years ago by Raimund Thomas and Silke Thomas, the Galerie Thomas is a leading international gallery that focuses on German Expressionist and classical Modern art pieces. Over the years they have participated in well-known international art fairs such as Art Basel and The Armory Show New York.
