Olifi, hailing from Britain, draws upon several sources of inspiration ranging from religious symbols, popular culture, and artistic influences. He attempts to capture his Nigerian heritage through multimedia works to show the exoticism of stereotypes of the culture.
Olifi’s work will be seen next at the Kind of Blue art show, which specializes in color-coordinated works to emulate jazz music visually.
