ABOUT ARTIST
Damien Hirst first came to public attention in London in 1988 when he conceived and curated "Freeze," an exhibition in a disused warehouse that showed his work and that of his friends and fellow students at Goldsmiths College. In the nearly quarter of a century since that pivotal show, Hirst has become one of the most influential artists of his generation.
ABOUT GALLERY
Hamilton-Selway Fine Art is one of the largest purveyors of Pop and Contemporary Art on the West Coast. We have a unique niche in the art business—unlike many others in this business we have a huge inventory of fine artwork. This allows us to have control over the material being offered to clients rather than just being middlemen with a limited ability to produce offered works, as well as knowing absolutely the condition of these prints, paintings and drawings.

ABOUT ARTIST
Chris Ofili draws inspiration from an eclectic array of popular, artistic, and religious sources, from the Bible and William Blake to blaxploitation films, hip hop, and his Nigerian heritage. His large-scale paintings—combining rippling dots of paint, drifts of glitter, collaged images, and most famously, elephant dung—work together in the service of a complex narrative about African culture, black stereotypes, history, and exoticism.

ABOUT ARTIST
Lothar Götz’s practice ranges from site-specific wall paintings and room-sized spatial installations to paintings and drawings. There is a clear coherence across his body of work in its continual referencing and engagement with ideas about architecture and space; his painting is characterised by its use of abstract geometric forms, fields and lines of intense colour, juxtaposed with one another.
