The Watermill Art Center is known as a laboratory for the Arts and Humanities that allows its guest to feel free to create, inspire, and explore their identities through research and the Arts. There are also ways for artists and students to connect with the center, further exploring their creative identities.

ABOUT THE LOCATION

The Watermill Art Center had very humble beginnings as a Ramshackle Laboratory with plenty of history behind it. With elbow grease and a little bit of love, the grounds began flourishing as an outlet to let creators and artists of all types grow in their own ways.

ABOUT THE EVENTS

When it comes to events, the Watermill Art Center wants to make sure all feel welcome. Such include allowing guests to spectate on the creative process of the resident artists, hosting exhibitions showing off completed works, and hosting lectures that allow students to further themselves. There are also programs that allow students and artists to become affiliated with the center.
